Thanks for the heads-up. Never did trust those bargain safes but I'm still astounded.
Those X-09 locks are the real deal and pricey as hell!Yes its a real NSN X-09.. Why go any other way.
BTW most RSC (residential storage container) that have a UL rating only have to pass a 5 min tool attack.

Ha, I've had many years experience with those. They are nice, until they do not work. Then it's a bitch to get fixed or replaced.Yes its a real NSN X-09.. Why go any other way.
Nice. I was thinking of buying one from GovLiquidations when I was in Colorado Springs, but a good Liberty safe would have been cheaper. I've seen two X-09s get drilled. One was just a failure of the lock (which is really rare), but I'm pretty sure the other one was one of the newer guys trying to change the combo on it and he messed it up somehow. Both instances took a few hours from the start of the job to opening the safe, and it was very loud and very messy.
