Eotech getting sued?

Got my check back today . . . and they screwed it up, because it was more than double what I requested for the XPS-2 I sent back. Looks like they may have tacked on a refund for another unit based on the attachment they sent. It has 2 Serial #'s and one's not from my EOTech.

Somebody that got yours is going to be steamed.

I'd suggest contacting EoTech if you haven't already and let them know what happened. They're doing a pretty solid thing offering refunds no-questions-asked. That's just my two cents. (and they very well might come asking for it, anyways once they figure out what happened)

Yeah, I am definitely going to call tomorrow . . . I just got the check late this afternoon and was too late to call. We'll see what they say about it and how they want to handle it. Just hope it doesn't open the door to them messing up the other direction and taking forever to cut a new check for the correct amount.

Makes you wonder how many others they did that to. My SN was one of the numbers listed, but I only had that one return. You wonder if they left one off someone else's or if they refunded one of them twice on 2 different refunds . . . or more.

Called EOTech customer service line referenced on the check to let them know about the overpayment. They said they needed to forward the information on to a different person who could work with me on it and that they'd call me back . . . but it might take a day or three. So now we wait--again.
