I have to confront people outside in the smoking areas of the casino all the time to tell them to stop smoking it. They seem to forget that it's legal to smoke in your own home, not "everywhere".

Frankly, I don't give a rats ass what you do in your own home.

These "nice days" in my neighborhood are ruined by the stench. I'm not anti pot but that doesn't mean I want to smell it all the time.

I don't ride a motorcycle, but I do ride a ton of bicycle and run. I've been smelling it in the parks for years. It is amazing how much of Lookout Mtn smells.

Yesterday coming into work East on 6 right at the end after the 25 interchange, I saw a dude just vaping away in his car unashamed. Seriously?
    Obviously not a golfer.

We need to do a forum ride with all the riders we have here! I'm free most weekends, I'll also be free 3/30-4/3.

I was down near 2nd and Bryant awhile back picking up some parts and the whole area smelled like when a skunk gets under the porch and dies.

(This response not directed at the OP. Instead is a response to entire thread.)

I would soooo much rather smell weed wafting around than get a big whiff of dog food, factory farm cow shit, crack, meth, raunchy B.O., waste treatment. puke, baby poo, the scent of a refinery or a cloud of cigarette smoke to the face (and yes, I smoked menthols for a LONG time) when I least expect it.

There's shitty drivers, shitty neighbors, shitty co-workers with or without weed- legal or not. Life does not come personalized with a cherry on top. Sometimes it smells, looks and feels funny.

If there comes a time I feel I am in danger due to the actions of someone either smoking weed, or clearly high on it, I will say something to them and remedy the situation. Until then Colorado is going to smell of pot and compared to other problems we humans are surrounded with on the daily, I'd say this is maybe closer to the bottom of the list of worries- at least for me.

That's your preference Lucky. Personally, I'd rather smell an honest ranch than weed. It's not something I enjoy when I first get a whiff but it's a smell of American heritage and of productivity. The smell of weed ... not so much. For most of the smells you listed, we have the luxury of riding off -- not so much when it's omnipresent in your neighborhood. Further, dog food, cow shit, BO, waste treatment, puke, baby poo, and refinery smells haven't been shown to have any effect on your mental processes, personal safety, or security clearance. Well, okay, smelling most of them all dang long probably WILL have an effect on your mental processes but not for biochemical reasons ...

Unfortunately, there's no perfect place to live. Every place has its bad points (gun laws, totalitarian laws, hurricanes, tornados, liberals, etc.) and most of them have their good points. Since I'm down in the Springs, the noxious omnipresent smell of weed around Denver isn't one of my top worries or irritants.
