Default Need opinions on a new Can

I'm debating on purchasing one of these two suppressors and I'd like to know if anyone has experience with one or both. My requirements are: (1) Target shooting and hunting (2) Multi usage on 5.56/7.62 cal rifles (3) QD using a muzzle brake or other means (3) lightweight

I know some people complain about POI changes, but for me, as long as it's consistent I'll re zero my optics. Not a big deal. Any other helpful info or options you can swing my way is great. Trying keep this thing under $1,300 if it's possible not including more of my $$ to the F'ng Feds. Thanks

I have a AAC 762-SDN-6 and really like it. Depending on what I'm using it on I do notice a slight POI shift. It is consistent though. I use it on all different rifles and it works just fine.

I have the omega. Excellent can. Compact (for a 7.62 can) and lightweight. I'm not sure about POI shift since it is dedicated to a single rifle currently. The ASR mount system seems to work very well if you're looking for QD though it does add a bit of weight. It seems to suppress 5.56 very well and you can get a 5.56 endcap for it. I haven't had the chance to compare the sound difference between the 7.62 and 5.56 endcaps.

Silencer shop is doing a pay the tax stamp on the Halo Ti can. That's $1300ish OTD, less transfer fee. However I'd factor in 2 mounts / brakes for your rifles, so you have an idea what it's costing ahead of time.

ThunderBeast or Silencerco Omega my choices.

Mile High is blowing out SAS suppressors. You could buy two of those for $1300 or less. Give them a call.

My Omega is a beast and very happy with it. It has my vote.
