I've got the Bak-flip Fibermax and absolutely love it. If you go that route, get the Fibermax or F1 as they won't dent from hail.

    Thanks for the tips, though.
Ha! Sorry! I linked you to the wrong site because my search produced a website with the correct tonneau cover in the pictures.

Now THAT makes sense! I'm about 80% set on that one. There is another brand that is the same exact thing, I've seen them both. I really don't need a cap, and I think this cover would do everything I need and nothing I don't.
    Still in a quandary though.

I recently purchased a 2006 Silverado. It came with a standard fiberglass topper that I figured I'd end up selling on Craigslist. Instead, I'm finding that I really like having it and other than not being able to crawl in the bed from the sides to retrieve things, it's very convenient. I don't think I'd like a tonneau unless it was one of the kind that rolled back completely out of the way. I wouldn't want a tip-up tonneau.

Either way, congrats on the new Tacoma. Fancy!

EDIT: I just looked at those folding tonneau covers. That's pretty cool. I could own one of those.

No longer accepting new Trust clients. Pretty much out of the law business completely.

^That build kit looked nice. I would have grabbed one but I have to use cash on something else this weekend.

I ordered one when they started the 'promo'. Showed up a week ago today. It's nice for the price. Light and handles well. Would be great for someone with smaller hands. The rail is thin. I really like how it "feels". I thought it was a mid-length. Guess I didn't look closely enough at the description.Just need to add a SSA-E and T1.
