I work in Golden every day. In and out of customer's homes. I nickname it Wash park West. The " This is Golden, this is not supposed to happen here" cracks me up. Yes, you may have just bought a home, added onto the house, remodeled the hell out of it, walk your daughter in her fancy stroller drinking your Starbucks, but you still live in Golden. Walk out of your neat little pod of remodeled homes and take a stroll about 8 blocks north. Or south east. Some of the newbies to Golden are shockingly annoying with how clueless they are. This comes from experience, not just ranting.

I'm pretty sure there's a nice older lady from New York driving a Prius who just moved to Golden.
