TFogger hooked me up good today for new rear shocks for the Harley. Progressive 444s, I had already swapped out the fork springs, needed to improve the rear end-hmm, that doesn't sound right. Anyway, Jim took care of me, amazing price installed for better than any online price for just the shocks! In and out in 30 minutes and able to do it before the rain today!! Great guy, will definitely do more business with him.

I've only been able to put on about 50 miles but the improvement in handling is outstanding (I've done similar set-ups on other bikes and expected nothing less). Before the bike kind of "wallowed" over roads, now it's much more solid and for such a "hog" it rides much more solid and smoothly. Very happy, now just need lots more days of sunshine to enjoy.

Beautiful bike Doc! If I could afford a bike, I imagine it would look very similar to yours.

Thanks, when the Fat Bob came out in '08 I took one a test ride and knew some day I'd have one. A year ago I found this one, it's a '14 and only had 3700 miles on it (trade in on a tourer). Got it right before the season took off and a price I couldn't pass on. In almost 48 years of riding this is possibly the bike that makes me the happiest.

I've always thought the Dynas were some of the best bikes in the Harley line.

Not sure it can touch the touring models on a long road trip.

    Good looking bike.

I agree 100% ray. It's been a number of years since I sold my '99 Road King, as my touring days are over. Once real summer gets here I can't wait to run up the backroads to Breck or other fun spots for lunch and back. That's about the extent of my "long" rides these days LOL.

If or when I buy a harley, the dyna's have always appealed to me. Just out of my price range so I will keep riding them Japanese rice rockets. Beautiful bike.

One day I'll own a Harley, and take that road trip to Hwy 1. Always wanted to do that trip with dad, but I don't know how well he'd fare these days.

My dad, passed in '92, always wanted to ride a m/c with a sidecar to take his Irish Setter with him (my mom would never have gone lol). When visiting one year in Tucson I borrowed a friend's HD with sidecar and took him for a ride-he just couldn't figure out working the clutch/throttle in the parking lot so there was no way I'd let him on the street ahahaha. He looked a little like Willy Nelson (actually was a blocking double for him for the tv movie "The Highwaymen"). One of the biggest grins I ever saw on his face. Unfortunately the photos disappeared with a bunch others when the now ex moved out 21 years ago (she also tossed a bunch of my gun boxes, grrrr).

Picked up some plus 10 extensions for the MPX. There's nothing like almost an entire box of ammo in one mag.

Had the F"N" twins out last night. The 16s is the new one, wearing its 14" pinned to 16" new barrel. The 17 was lonely.
