Black cop shoots a black male who pointed a stolen loaded gun at the cop. These are not riots. These are not demonstrations. These are opportunistic crimes. They are looking for any reason to burn shit down and riot. Any excuse to do it and they are going to . It's almost expected any time there is a a cop who need to subdue a criminal these days. Sickening.

Anyone catch the "protestors" quotes? if the police had released the video AND told us it was a black cop. This might of not happened.

Sheesh. I almost feel guilty for looking at real estate in Rapid City.
Yeah, I know. They're a lot closer than Twin Falls and Boise, actually. There's a sizable community (relatively speaking for a town of 22,000) in Moscow. The difference here is people actively fight the federally forced resettlement and have backing from the state. Not that it does a lot of good. But at least there isn't the political correctness of most places.

Like locusts... shameful. Even WY isn't safe. Look at what happened to TX, they used to only have to deal with libtards in Houston, Dallas and Austin. Now it's spread to almost every city, and they aren't as gun friendly as they used to be in the 90's. Look at CO, even the Springs is getting invaded by liberals, slowly...

I'm assuming that would be your Franklins, and then Oconomowoc / Pewaukee areas.

More interesting to me is your 'tosa area. This is only a mile or two from Sherman Park. But it is your "regentrify" crowd, which tends to be more liberal. My BIL and best friend from HS live there now, and I cannot figure out why since we all grew up on the South side.

I might also say I somewhat disagree that these are Soros agitators. I worked for a private ambulance in Milwaukee in the late 90s, but there, the privates do take the 911 calls since MFD doesn't have the resources. Sherman Park was my company's "fire area." There's a lot of mob mentality there, and it is exacerbated by boredom (i.e. Unemployment). I went to a lot of calls where a crowd would immediately congregate and folks would want to see a fight or whatever b/c someone felt aggrieved. Incidentally, I blame democrat policies for why certain sections have really ruined Milwaukee and why anyone with any sort of means wants to live in Brookfield or Mequon or Muskego or whatever out on the perimeter.

Yeah, several big outlets have picked up variations on that story, and I expect this guy to be demonized over time. Same old story in Milwaukee with the mayor and MPD chief being totally impotent with no idea what to do, and the Sheriff being stronger, and I like this guy more than most. He is telling the truth, at some point they have to own it.

Why is there so much poverty and easy agitation? In some parts of town (and BTW, Sherman Park is far from the worst neighborhood there), these people have no hope. Very few escape. It is generations of bad decisions. Even if you wanted to keep your head down and work hard, the schools are amongst the worst around. Milwaukee was the powder keg for the "School vouchers" program, and they were one of the early experiments and it was working, but I'll let you guess which political party dismantled it, destroying an awful lot of hope. The social welfare programs he mentions perpetuate it. Why try when you can do nearly as well not trying? I saw this ALL the time running calls. Some were logical economic decisions (like I may as well stay on welfare because no one will hire me) and some were terrible (I may as well buy rims and play stations instead of school or training).

It makes me truly sad for my hometown. Like I said, I worked in that neighborhood as an EMT and later as a Pharmacy technician and intern at St. Joseph's right nearby. It isn't Detroit, St. Louis, or Chicago, but if you pull the city data and compare it to Denver, there is far more crime and homicide, whether straight up, or 4-5x worse when adjusted for population differences. Despite the 16th street mall thing, there is really nowhere I don't feel safe here. Definitely not true there and the poverty was so much worse.

I'm not going to put all of the blame on "the system". There are also cultural issues where people are castigated for trying to educate themselves and work their way out of their situation.
Liberals never met a slippery slope they didn't grease.
