Oh I get how cash is scrutinized and is total bs. Once credit cards arrived on scene, the government seemed to forget that cash is legal currency.

I had $2k in cash on me while trying to go through security at DIA a while back. I got pulled to the side and questioned about it pretty harshly. The TSA couldn't seem to understand the concept of travel money and seemed to think it was a crime. In the end they inspected each bill and let me go on my way.

How did they know you had the cash? I've been through screening several times with more than that.

Part of me likes this because dope is still a federal schedule 1 thing and this ruling is consistent with current law.

Part of me does not like this because a person should be able to do what they want provided they don't hurt anyone. So if a person likes guns and dope as long as they are personally responsible enough to leave their guns alone while they are stoned then why can't they do both.

Considering the number of 'tards that can't be bothered to follow the rules of legal pot in CO, I wouldn't trust a single one of them to not be screwing with guns while high.
