    Default Motorcycle Mechanics?

Anybody mechanically inclined know how to change the fork seals on a 2001 R1 and willing to show me or do this for me for super cheap?

I won't have my car after Friday and will be borrowing my buddies bike for a few weeks, and REALLY dont like nose diving every time i even think about touching the front brake!

I asked the guys over at Grand Prix, and they said they would do it for about 150 off the bike and 275 on the bike. Unfortunately I just dont have the money to pay for this since I lost my job last week... I have the parts, I just dont have the tools, experience, or money...

Kind of depends on the time involved. Just a basic carb sync is about an hour of shop time @ $66 an hour. What symptoms are you experiencing(that make you think they're out of sync)?

Nothing other then when I bought it the carbs were gunked up and I pulled tore down and cleaned then rebuilt...

tho I was careful not to mess with the sync screws I've always heard your supposed to re sync em after ya pull em .. just in case.

the bike seems to have plenty of power and has ran great the last two seasons LOL .. but I'd hate to burn a valve up .
