    My father spent 3+ years under water in the WW II South Pacific as a direct consequence of that day. I can assure you the day did not pass unnoticed.

    I flew the flag and put "Remember Pearl Harbor" on the service work schedule at work.

    Later on I watched Tora Tora Tora on TV.
