Default Finally finished my first 308 AR

About a year and a half ago, I started an LR-308 build. After looking at parts and reading quite a lot on the subject, I decided to put together an Aero Precision M5E1. The free floated barrel along with everything else I saw about Aero made me really want to go with them. I purchased all Aero parts over the course of a year and a half and I finally finished it. Overall, I am pleased with the quality (based on feel and tolerances alone, because I have not yet shot it...... a travesty). The upper and lower (which were bought a year apart) fit together so nicely that there is absolutely no play in it......we're talking absolutely no play. I cannot wait to throw some rounds down range soon and give you guys a fuller report of it, until then, I figured I'd just post a picture of it.

I don't make the rules. I just think them up and write them down.

I am really really considering one of the Areo M5 builder sets with 15" keymod.

Got a Xmas bonus from a client just burning a hole in my pocket.

I literally bought everything from them. I did the ballistic advantage 16" bbl with a 12" m-lok handguard. It's a super light setup. I thought about going with the 18" bbl, but their specs had it listed as a full pound heavier.

Looking forward to hearing how it shoots.
