That is some of them...I am aware of plenty where that isn't the case. They are living 10 and 15 people in a 2 bedroom place to save money to wire back to Mexico. They openly admit they are only here long enough to make enough to go back to Mexico and buy a place to retire.

I do know poor immigrants that are here legally and don't even know how to get most of the things that you've listed, and have declined help from people suggesting those types of benefits just because they don't understand that they legally qualify, are too proud, think they'll get into trouble, or some combination. There are of course abusers of the system in all forms, but I have a feeling it might not be as rampant as people assume that it is.
No, it is as rampant as people believe it is, and has been for decades. It is an easy lookup. Cost of illegal aliens annually to U.S. taxpayers. People with 5th grade educations and families tend to take more than they give, and why give when we make it easy for them to take.

I'm a strong believer in making government aid more difficult to obtain, for everyone. Or at least, more difficult to keep for a long duration.

My significant other understands spanish fluently, and overheard a conversion right out in the open in the DVM, where apparently detailed instructions for this were being discussed...

That's not evidence of anything. That's the same as saying, "I heard two guys having a conversation at the bar about __insert any scheme___."

I'm sure it's one of those things that everyone knows about and openly talks about. I'm trying to figure out what percentage of people actually do it. I assume a lot of the people receiving benefits that they shouldn't are from citizen collaborators, probably family.

The AP has a total hard-on for Trump.

    Ya Think.

it's all part of the left's Resist Movement. They still believe Hillary won, doing anything possible to destabilize the administration.

In college my Spanish professor made the comment of how he couldn't understand how his elderly in-laws from South America, ( who had just immigrated to the US) could be getting Social Security benefits. They had never put a penny into the system.
