To begin with, he really should be doing that demonstration with a cleared weapon if he's going to face any direction other than downrange...
Any one of the students that did not walk off that range and lodge a complaint has questionable decision making.

What a joke. A scary, dangerous joke. Just because someone is a "trainer" doesn't mean they should be. Be careful who you take classes from or who you send your loved ones to classes with. OMG.

Aside from the obvious dumbassitudeⓇ, thumbs forward on a revolver isn't the best idea ever.
I learned that after "instructing" a friend that had a poor grip and accuracy issues on semi's. After shooting the Sig's and 1911's, he carried it over on his revolver and I did not know at the time to correct him and explain he WAS doing it right on the revolver. My derp.
