That it's not a Constitutional right. Merely a law enacted whose interpretation is left to the whim of politics and federal Law Enforcement.

I often see NFA portrayed as protected under the 2nd Amendment, and people need to understand that isn't the case.
That argument has been tried in court many times, and it never proves to be true.
I was shocked when I made the discovery, and that is why I spoke to the attorneys for FAIR Trade.
Johanna Reeves is a TRUE BELIEVER in the 2nd Amendment and the private ownership of firearms, and this is the type of law she works in.
In fact NFA-TCA employs her firm for their needs.
She confirmed what I read, if you want to support NFA you have to make your arguments without the 2nd Amendment, as it won't stand up in court.

I am not saying that I agree, I am stating what is case law.
I would suggest that anyone who owns items covered by the NFA read up on the subject.
It may help you down the road if you have a better understanding of this aspect of the law.
