Technically I'm still a CO resident at the moment... house sale closes 4/28, and my TX LTC (License to carry) came in this week... so next time I'm in TX I'll be transferring residency by getting my TX DL

I didn't want to get TX DL until I had my TX LTC, because having TX DL with CO CHL means it's invalid at least in Colorado, since they don't recognize non-resident permits from any state...
I own homes in both states and I've been spending lots of time here getting the house ready

I'm thinking that some time in April I need to see if I can get a bunch of y'all together- meet some that I haven't yet, find out who wants to come hog hunting (once I get them lured back or get hooked up with other places to hunt, we have heard javelinas at night, but not feral hogs)... I'm sure I'll check into the board from TX in the future... this is my favorite place on teh interwebs.

i think 68charger actually summed it up--what she does isn't a local issue, or even a state issue, it's national. Whether you believe it or not, the scare tactics by these "common sense moms" actually resonate with "moms" and other assorted uninformed people. With subtle names, tons of cash, and carefully crafted messages, they get their point across--much better than some fatassed open carry advocate with an SKS at a Starbucks does.

Recall, she's hooked up with Bloomberg. Recall, it was Bloomberg that orchestrated the 15 round magazine limit here. You want to leave? Don't let the door hit you on the way out. But the rest of us who intend to stay should keep close watch.

I'm leaving, but I really don't want to leave y'all swinging on my way out... CO is a battle ground for sure.

I'm going to do my best to hook up with shooters in TX, and advise them that whatever is going on in CO, expect to see it in TX next.. sometimes the fight is beyond your borders... so maybe I can bring more into the fray from a couple states over...

keep pushing that she moved into an "extreme BLUE area" of CO... and that outside of the Denver Metro, there is VERY little support for their agenda... one of the major reasons I'm leaving CO... "if you don't live in Denver Metro, you don't matter"... is the MO of the politics in CO over and over again... tired of it

I need to write an open letter to the CO leg that I'm moving primarily for that reason, and taking my 6-figure salary with me.

P.S. They add "Mom" to their name for emotional response- but they don't speak for all moms, for sure.. I know My wife doesn't agree with them...
