It will be fun, I enjoy fighting the weather. BTW I wrote my post on Thursday morning and did my ride on Thursday afternoon, might want to pay attention to the post date in the future.

Those of you who want to ban cyclists from paved roads, what else do you want to ban, maybe ban guns for everyone else except yourselves, maybe you want to control what people write on the internet? You have a lot to learn about natural rights, liberty, freedom of choice, etc.

I think the frustration w/ Bicyclists is how they want to be treated like a vehicle but don't want to act like a vehicle, or even be treated like a vehicle when inconvenient for them.

It is. I used to be frustrated with the idea of bicyclists acting like jerks, because I read about it online all the time. Then when I started driving almost constantly, I quickly got over it as I hardly ever encounter bicyclists that are impeding traffic. I would say that my traffic frustration ratio looks something like 1000:1 (car:bike). That's no exaggeration. Now, I don't often find myself driving through LODO, and I'm sure if I did my experience might be different.

Haha, oh man. I'd ride in that lane next to the water as a challenge though.

All of them are like that right? Kind of like all gun owners are criminals and thugs...

Enough bikers act like that to warrant the general frustration. Particularly when they have no licensing, tagging, etc. and therefore do not contribute to the very roads they hog. And, if one wants to retort with "they do that by paying for their Subaru Outback's plates", well, one could make that argument for motorcyclists and their cages. Or even car owners w/ 2+ cars.

Addendum: Why do I, a dual sport motorcycle owner, have to pay for a separate OHV sticker/permit when I can drive in my SUV on the same trail w/o the sticker? Both are tagged for road use. Why is it someone can ride a bike from their house to a trail and back, but pays nothing extra for road or trail? There's a disparity.
