It looks like those of us that got a check for the returned sight will get an additional $22. I’ll have to sit down and think what I want to buy with all that new settlement money. So, is it safe to assume that some lawyer agreed that an additional $22 was all he could get for each of us previous customers? Is it safe to also assume that the lawyers may have gotten the lion’s share of the real money?

That's the way it always is with class action suits. That's why IMO most class actions are just a scam to enrich the lawyers and convey no real benefit on the supposed "victims" on whose behalf the lawyers are suing.

I got a postcard last week with info about joining the class-action suit.
    Tossed it in the trash.

I got one of those as well, I think I still have it, but what's the point in joining in if I already got my money back?
I don't make the rules. I just think them up and write them down.

Never had an issue with any of my EOTechs--I love them but I've registered them within the lawsuit. If I read the fine print correctly, Instead of sending them back for a full refund, I get to keep my optics and get an EOTech credit for each optic registered. I will be happy to purchase another EOTech product in the future as i don't rely on my optics for duty or self defense. Win win situation for my range toys.

read the fine print, if you got a refund, you can't join the class action lawsuit... or if you take the offer of the vouchers/cash that they're offering- it's in exchange for giving up your right to sue.

    8. WHAT DOES THE SETTLEMENT PROVIDE?

    Answer:

If you are a Class Member, you may elect one (and only one) of the following benefits:

    If you:
    You may be entitled to:

Previously received a refund from EOTech
A $22.50 voucher toward the purchase of a new EOTech product will automatically be sent to you.

Have not previously received a refund from EOTech
and would like to keep your EOTech Holographic Weapon Sight
Elect a cash benefit, which may be as much as much as $50 and as low as $25 depending on how many people submit Valid Claims, or a $100 voucher toward the purchase of a new EOTech product.

Have not previously received a refund from
EOTech and want to return your Holographic Weapon Sight to EOTech
A refund of the purchase price of your Holographic Weapon Sight up to the Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price ranging from $299 to $1,179, $15.00 for shipping. and a $22.50 EOTech product voucher.
Forgive the formatting - looks better on the linked page.
