Sadly in typical fashion the random old dude talking to the only gun counter guy for 30 minutes made me unable to handle it. My guess is the eye box is crazy small at 8x so I'm not sure if the extra magnification will be worth it for a 25 percent increase in cost. Intriguing though.

You know exactly the kind of guy I mean. Guy probably goes shooting once every 6 months but for some reason has all the time in the world to chill at the counter not even asking pertinent questions. Meanwhile the gun shop has one person working so you float around the counter for a half hour before finally giving up. What's nuts is it seems to happen at every brand name gun store in all parts of the country. Bizarre.
