This may be a government attempt to defend Senators from the coming Zompacalypse.

While I disagree with pretty much everything he says and does, I hope he has a positive outcome. Brain cancer took the father of one of my best friends exactly 1 year ago today. Mike was my friend as well, and it was brutal to watch.

Ted Kennedy died from a glioma. John McCain has one. They co-sponsored legislation. You may be on to something.

I also find it interesting that the statements from the Mayo Clinic seem to state that they got all of the cancerous tissue and he's recovering well. From other sources, I found this;
