    Besides "don't have time"

What is your biggest hurtle to overcome? I don't have the shop for a full frame off resto-mod so I'd have to buy a rolling chassis. But also don't have all the specialty tools to drop in an tranny and engine.

What are your hurtles you need to overcome for a first project?
My biggest hurtles for undertaking any project are space, time, and funds. In that order.

I've skirted the space issue by realizing that motorcycles take up far less space. My last two projects were a 1970 CB750 hard tail chopper and a 1974 KZ400 cafe racer.

The time thing is always an issue as I never work less than a forty hour week and am subject to call outs at any time.

Funds, well that's more a matter of prioritizing what I do with my money. Sometimes I find my projects end up taking a back burner to things like vacations, entertainment, and other hobby spending.

Here's mine: 1993 XR600R. Goal is to have it rideable by spring.

Engine is currently suspect and there is no muffler yet, but I'm optimistic it'll all work out...

For the last few months my dad and I have been working on this 1966 CJ5a that my grandpa bought brand new. It's been a fun project.
    Nice project!!

How is the Carnage Crew doing? What happened to the mail delivery van?

I have a reliable XR650 and am loving it. Best of luck with your project.

I've got a '56 Willys CJ5 Jeep under restoration, and an '82 Harley FLT under reconstruction. Both are stalled mainly due to lack of space to work on 'em, and money too.....

We're still around, still having fun. Mail van got sold to a Jeep collector in Salt Lake City. It was one jeep he was missing out of his collection of nearly 1 of every jeep made and he wanted it more than I did $$$. It's one vehicle I've had that I regret selling.

Here is my slow project car. I bought it to race in NASA Spec Z class. It's taking longer than I wanted, but she will be a full on race car someday. The biggest hurdle is the $5000 for the role cage. But ya gotta pay to play. I'll get there someday.
