Many years ago he got me for a pair of "shortened" shocks. Sent a pair of perfect factory Sportser shocks to be shortened. Got back a pair of hacked up shocks that were not the same shocks I sent in.
Lesson learned.

Go ask about him on Harley forums where older riders hang out. Not any HD forums, HOG forums, or places where younger riders and wannabees hang out, but forums for the older graybeards - for Flathead, Knuckleheads, Panheads, Shovelheads and old school choppers. Guys that have been around Harleys and choppers since the 60's, we're out there. Like Shovelhead USA. He's got a well-earned reputation amongst those who count, the younger guys all believe his bullshit and think he's some kind of all-knowing guru. Until THEY get boned themselves.....
