Cummins 4BT... do it right

Not interested in wearing ear-pro while I'm driving. Although it could come in handy if some punk tried to Jeep jack me!
A diesel conversion would be cool and expensive. I would look at the Cummins 2.8T crate motor or a VW TDI.

A gentleman on a Nissan Xterra forum I'm a member of did a VW TDI swap on his second gen Xterra, said he was squeezing out 38 to 40 mpg, and 750+ miles to a tank, now THAT would be nice.
