I'm in the process of working up loads with IMR4451 (IMR's temp tolerant version of 4350). It looks pretty good so far. I haven't done any testing at different temperatures yet, but the loads are very consistent with no fliers at any of my ladder testing levels, but I'm running pretty modest speeds with it. I did ladder testing between 40.6 and 41.5. I have a few pounds of H4350; I'll probably do some testing between the two next summer. Unfortunately, I can't find any RL16 to do a three way comparison...hopefully find some soon.

Savage 10FCP-SR 24" (off bags on a bench; my capabilities are limited...still learning)
143eldx, Hornady Brass @ 2677fps with 41.3gr .75MOA 5 shot group; the Hornady Precision Hunter 143eldx is advertised at 2700fps, which was my goal.
140rdf, Hornady Brass @ 2665fps with 41.1gr .8MOA 5 shot group; the Hornady Match 140eld is advertised at 2710, which was my goal.

I didn't have access to the chronograph when I was doing my ladder testing so I decided on the winner for each load prior to knowing the speeds.

This is my 3rd workup, 50 yards. Sig MCX Virtus 9” 300AAC. Honing the workup from the bottom
Left group later this week. Less than 2 MOA would be fine for a 0.09 projectile. I’ve seen claims of sub MOA.
I have not shot it from a 16” 300AAC barrel yet.

    * this is with the HP version which apparently is not as reliable as the round nose flat tip

I tried 100 of them myself a while back. I was hoping for a cheaper way to shoot full auto.

    HP or RNFT?

They are sending me some RNFT samples, I bought 1k HP. If they work gonna get a buttload more. Grouping well @ ~ 1040 fps

Flat point. Played a little bit with OAL and still was so-so.

Eggleston coated bullets worked perfect, cheaper, local, easier to keep subsonic and mostly because chicks dig pink and purple bullets.

Powder coated ? Barrel fouling issues ?

Here’s the most recent load dev, it’s was below freezing which dropped overall FPS on the A1680, but I confirmed the node, and also moved seating depth up from 1.950 to around 2.000 and seemed to get a possible improvement. Might go tomorrow to do round 5z
