I don’t think they should be changing any of the ages mentioned in this post. But if Dems don’t think that 18 year olds should own firearms because they aren’t mature enough, then I’ll recognize the danger that misguided votes and youthful idiots can cause to our country.

If they raised it to 72 I wouldn't have so much stuff plus at 72 I wouldn't be able to afford it any way !!!

3 more years of school mandatory!!! wait, isn't that free college?

If kids having access to guns is the problem, then I submit eliminating that access. All schools are now boarding schools. Kids get dropped off there at the beginning of the year, and picked up at the end of the year. Closed campus except for field trips. ALL personal are wanded and have bags checked upon entering, and leaving the school, just like a cruise ship. Problem solved. Plus, parents don't have to worry about the messy, difficult disciplining of their children, or feeding them, or clothing them. They can go to work and focus on their careers just like they wanted in the first place. Don't have to pay an expensive child care provider anymore, all that money now goes to the institution of your choice. Don't have kids, don't pay toward institution. Kids can't bring guns from home to shoot up the school if they aren't allowed home.

Isn't this the beginning of Battle Royale, and/or, some sort of weird, John Podesta fantasy? Does the school serve pizza?

As most gun grabs are bad ideas. The opposite usually would work. Why not let kids be taught about guns at age 10 so they have education and knowledge about how dangerous they are before they hit puberty and get crazy with hormones.

While that's not a bad idea, knowing how dangerous guns are doesn't stop anyone from being killed by guns. Not in the case of intentional shooting sprees anyway.
