    Suggest a HK MP5 gunsmith. Looking to get a MP5 receiver flat rolled/welded....

    They need to be a SOT 7 / mfg. Not something any ffl or smith can do, since they will be mfg it for you. Just watch some vids, browse the HK and other 80% forums and DIY.

    I'm aware they would need SOT 7/mfg and I'm willing to pay, want it done right.

    Don't know anything about this guy. Called and e-mailed, no reply.

    No SOT is needed unless they're building it into an SBR or other NFA firearms.

    A regular Title 1 firearm only requires the manufacturer FFL (Type 07). Class 2 SOT on top of the FFL 07 is only needed for manufacturing NFA firearms.
