I wanted to keep it generic for now and I'll follow up once the check clears. This just caught me off guard after a long day.

Sounds like a professional Loiterer . Question is. What group will be outraged enough when the store calls the cops, it warrants everyone taking sensitivity classes.
The big question is. Why at the point when employee (what ever letter of the alphabet was used) Refused to hand your DL back, was the owner not asked for immediately? Also why have you not sent this issue to the owner via email?

I’d be interested to know as well. Sounds like salesperson B could be the owner of one of the shops I formerly worked for lol.
I would’ve immediately brought up the bill of sale when salesperson B stated that the trade was off. I’d then inform them that I have a 25% restocking fee that they’ll need to square away in order to reverse the deal. (Another throwback to that former shop owner I worked for![]()
I think sales person B might be the owner/co-owner based on previous experiences. Small shop with no one else there so it didn't seem relevant to ask for owner.
I've been to many LGS with poor customer service. This was the first time I had one try to go back on a deal that was complete.
Is an LGS a special type of FFL dealer?
Not familiar with the acronym.
