Audio via HDMI from the TV is only going to work if it's ARC (Audio Return Channel)
The optical out to a converter is probably your best bet.

Is there no headphone jack on the TV?
If there is, then use this cable from your headphone jack output to the appropriate input on the receiver.

Based on a little Googling ... looks like your TV doesn't have a headphone jack. Seems to be the major complaint and what keeps that particular TV from getting the highest ratings.

If you're running from the PS3, can you run the audio from the PS3 directly to the receiver?

I could buy the PS3 HiDef RCA's and run it to the receiver, but that doesn't resolve the issue of the audio via the OTA antenna if I want to watch a Broncos game or a tv show.
