If that was the case then why would they even issue a policy in the first place? or accepted payment?

They would have just said they don't offer that type of ins to begin with and there would be no policy to cancel.

In the end you need a policy for your home, you need a business policy for your business and everyone should have an umbrella policy for any liability issues that your regular policy doesn't cover..

Either that or a hidden offshore account that you can fall back on when you file bankruptcy.

There are huge insurance companies with lesser known for personal/residential insurances. Some companies are known for come specific commercial and some for others.
