Those sorts were here a week ago, before the current round of storms even hit. Very pushy/insistant on my need for a "free estimate" for new windows (1904 house), asking all kinds of prying questions they didn't need to know the answer to, etc. Very upset when I sent them on their way.
"No Soliciting" signs are worthless.
Down here it's 50/50. Half will still ring. Sometimes I just open the inner door and point the sign, they shrug, and walk off.
I treat the ones that still ring with a little bit of extra scrutiny. It's obvious I'm not buying anything with that sign above the doorbell so why ring?
Always eat the vegans first
Our whole neighborhood is "no soliciting", our HOA recommends calling the police. I won't call them at all, what a stupid waste of time.

Answer the door naked, holding a shotgun, and scream out in your best 80's voice, "You ready to party!?"

High pitched, hair band rasp.
Alternative for the baritones and basses: Go Barry White and say in the same.
