Speaking of work phones, did it also hit .gov blackberries?

That's odd, my message read: "Hey dummy, you forgot to disable this stupid setting when you got your new phone last year like you do on every other phone."

Thanks for the reminder emergency alert system!

I didn't think you could turn off presidential alerts

I don't know if you can turn off recieving of the alert, but I had do not disturb enabled and ringer turned off, and recieved no audible alert, just the pop up notifying me of the alert.

Good to know I always worry about that. I usually have my phone on silent when I'm sleeping during the day but was waiting for a call so I happened to take it off.

Didn't get it. Maybe because my phone is 6 years old? It says I should have(can't turn them off), but nada...

Oh I had the alert turned off. But I guess China got the alert. I would surmise the entire system is compromised according to this report.

That Bloomberg report is incredible. The fact that we've been using ANY China made components in military/gov equipment is insane. That's just asking for it.

It creates a deeper question. If we were to enter into WW3, with China as an enemy, what would happen to the world's strongest military? Even if not compromised, we'd have a pretty hard time building new equipment without Chinese made microchips...
