I SBR'd my scorpion when they first came out. At that time, there were not many options for pistol braces for it so I almost felt like I had no choice. With all the options out there now for braces, I would be hard pressed to do another SBR. The SBA3 and I have a feeling they are only going to keep getting better. Plus if you SBR, you are pretty much married to it the rest of your life which can be good or bad depending on how you view it.

I think SBR's are fairly easy to move if you don't leave them an SBR. Sell in state with one stamp, or convert to a non SB rifle (just put a rifle lenght barrell on it) to sell, and have it removed from the register. I have the SB brace on it now, and it's okay. Just don't love it. Might change when I lose weight. Might get worse. Will have to see.

    My Feedback

I'm not worried too much about mine, as it's a trust that carried a business name.

Which SB brace do you have?

Any interest in trying the KAK?

I can argue both ways for SBR, but then I realize that I spend $200 on sooooooo many things that don't give me any utility at all compared to what I get with an SBR, so it doesn't matter. Just go with whatever fits your situation at the time. I saw a post on a gun board recently that I felt really nailed most decisions. "You're going to have both in five years anyway, so it doesn't matter as much which you choose today."

My scorpion is an SBR now so it has the OEM folding unit on it.

Others I have are the sig original brace, SBA3, KAK blade and soon an SB tactical for the draco pistol I have.

I just got the sba3, and will be throwing it w/ my LAW adapter on the pistol so will likely be making the KAK available.

What do like better about the KAK over the SB?

My bad. I read quickly and was thinking you had an AR. My KAK brace is for an AR.
