There is a forum member that usually only posts in the sales section. I tried doing business with him once. He actually raised the price once he found out I was interested. His emails were almost cryptic. There was no spelling, structure or complete thought involved. I offered to meet near his work because he couldn't get away. No dice. I finally told him to let me know if/when he wanted to do business. Never hear anything more.

I still see the occasional post from him. I almost want to a warning, to anyone who will listen, to avoid this person.

I love to use them as well.

I first learned about their use back in Middle School (for me it was called Junior High). They are critical in identifying the transitions in the story (not the movie) The Secret Life of Walter Mitty.

Anytime I see any sort of correspondence regarding a transaction I go looking in there to see how that person has dealt with others.
