    That's very cool.

It's nice that you're deserving and appreciative of the efforts of others.

I've been clearing the walks on my side of the street several houses up and down for so long I can't remember. I've cleared driveways for all of them and those on the other side of the street as well during particularly heavy falls over the years. I used to clear the drive for my immediate neighbor whenever he was working but he turned into a complete d*ck so I stopped doing the drive although I still do the sidewalk.

For the most part, not one person, unless I was present when I was doing it, has ever thanked me. Not that I'm doing it for that, nor do I expect a knock on my door every time.

However, when I go out of town for several days and come home to have to clear the walk, when all others have been shoveled, it kinda pisses me off that not one person made an effort to return the favor.

It's very apparent where the source of the snowblower is, nobody else on our side that I clear has one. I don't expect anyone to clear my drive, but doing the walk after a small snowfall when it's clear I'm not around isn't too much to expect IMHO.

It always nice to have a neighbor help you out when you down a bit.

Im being a prick neighbor now. Ill plow my drive and down to the county road. I might have even plowed a bit of a burm for the neighbors above me to yave to deive through. I have spent thousands of dollars on fixing the road and all they do is complain. One neighbor had the gall to ask for a receipt for the culverts I putchased as proof I purchased them. He then kept the receipt, so I wasnt able to write it off my taxes.

Great neighbor to help you out, Doc.

Maybe the neighbor stays away from Ray's because he got orange junk on his plow the last time.
