Still liking it? It seems to be the only longe range rifle range near town with open enrollment.

What is their rule on rate of fire (outside of FA and bump fire)?

Shoot standing on the rifle range?
I'll stop buying black rifles when my wife stops buying black shoes.

I visited the site a couple of weeks ago and loved everything but the price tag. The prices were very reasonable, the only problem is I dont shoot enough currently to justify the expense. Good looking range though and the people were very friendly and laid back.

Default FA at Golden is fine

I shoot my Class 3 stuff, I am just considerate of other shooters around me when I let go of a 50 round drum on the Thompson.

good club, not too crowded, just time your visit between matches.

It's a great club. I was a member up until these last couple years when I just couldn't justify the expense anymore. I only get the chance to go shoot 5-6 times a year tops (and one of those times is for work party), so the $180 price tag is a bit steep for me. I really wish they had a lower tier membership or a punch card or something I could use. It really is the best place around, and the people there are great. Gotta love hearing OW tell stories about his days in the military! That guy's a hoot!

I can't afford to dump 300 bucks to join a club. That's pretty nuts. I would like to be able to shoot out to at least 500 though, anything at all like that in the area?

Ben Lomond in Elbert county has a 600 yard range. Very nice gun club if you don't mind the drive. Golden gun club is also quite nice, we used to use it to qualify for work, but again, depending on where you live, the drive may get ya.
