Have been considering a new pistol for hog hunting. We hunt thick and swampy areas with dogs and carrying a rifle is a pain. I have a Glock 22 and 23 C and have used them but they are sometimes a little under powered without good shot placement, which is a little tough when a 400 pound hog with 6 " razor sharp tusks is charging you. I mentioned a 10mm to my gunsmith and he recomended the 45 GAP. What do you guys think? I have a high powered revolver but prefer more than 5 shots in this situation.
