Default I need to learn Excel

Hey guys, I never really had to use Excel in school more than once or twice (weird right?). I've got some employment tests coming up where I'll be required to do some stuff in Excel. I know that I can probably find some tutorial stuff online (and will look), but if anyone knows of a good sight that can run me through some basics, that would really help me and I'd greatly appreciate it. The lady told me that I should be able to sum a column. I know that is like day 1 stuff, but like I said, I've never really used the program much.

if you have excel I would "mock" Spreadsheets

Calculate your spending using all of the waded receipts in your truck and stuff like that.

if you are in Adams county I know they have quite a few MS Classes at the job centers.

If you don't have Excel, you can use either Open Office or Google Docs to build spreadsheets. The specific functions are different, but at least you can get familiar with things like building tables and basic function like SUM().

Thanks. After I posted this thread I went to check and see if I even have Excel on this laptop. I have Microsoft Spreadsheets. I downloaded Excel and some tip programs. I also found some tutorials, but won't look at them further until tomorrow. Thanks for the tips. I AM in Adams county.

Thanks everyone who has sent me stuff or put up links. I was working through a tutorial last night that was step by step and very helpful. If summing a column is the hardest thing that I have to do, then the test should be cake.

Then up your game and learn to use bring values from worksheets up to the top sheet, and do graphs that respond to the values entered in worksheets.
