I may be wrong but I'm getting so I don't like either one of them ! All of them are so far out of touch with reality it's scary. They have no idea what the average citizen in this country is going through day by day. They vote for their own raises,have the best health care,solid retirement etc. I love my country but I hate politics.

I agree. Got to get the McCains and Grahams out of the picture to start, but the Tea Party has helped get some of our core principals back on the map.

- Believe/don't believe in God
- Want/don't want gun rights
- Vote for/against abortion/gay/etc rights
- et al, ad nauseam.

I think the OP would be more correct if "Republican" was replaced by "Conservative", and "Democrat" was replaced by "Liberal/progressive"

I'm with others, I wish it were as easy as picking a party- we need a way to abolish the 2-party system, it's not working anymore...
