Not sure what's happens in CO when it comes to update / renew. However when we applied here. To get the "star" which allows one to board a plane. Had to provide everything but a dna sample. Spouse had to provide marriage cert, both needed birth certs etc.

This homeland Sec has been out of hand, with them in the background of more stuff then people realize.
Thank california for that. Their policy of issuing a drivers license to anybody without any checks done about citizenship basically forced the feds to declare their DL's as worthless for ID at a federal facility including airports. Cali residents ( and a couple other states I cant remember atm) have to have another form of secure id like a SS card or passport to pass through TSA checkpoints now. The star allows you to use your DL as a vetted ID at this time, so be thankful most new Colorado DL's have this.

As to car titles, it used to be in Colorado you could use "and" or "or" on title paperwork which meant this: is using "and" then every person listed on the title has to sign to change ownership, if using "or" then any single person listed on the title could change ownership without the others input/consent/permission.

    Untrue.

As of September 5, 2019, 50 states and territories are fully compliant with the REAL ID requirements, and all states are on track to begin issuing compliant licenses and IDs by the October 1, 2020 deadline.

    Ah ,good to know.
Was a pain in the rear going on field service trips to california from 2007-2017 and the TSA lines were always backed up with ppl finding out they couldn't get past TSA checkpoint with just a cali DL Nice to see the feds finally got cali to comply. Even better is not having to do field service work in SFO(san fran) or ORD(chicago) anymore at all:
