How has this show/comic book lasted so long?

Season One, Episode One, last scene as the group plays loud music luring the zombie hoards to several of these:

I didn't watch either TWD or FTWD at all last season...just sort of lost interest.

Carol has been flaky for while, too bad though.... I do miss the strength her role once was.

Negan just might be an impact role yet again. Reviews of this season are good and the show needed that, we'll see.

One of her better ones was in alexandria. When she told that kid, she'd take him out side the wall and tie him to a tree., Then asked as she turns to him. Cookie?
