    I do get the thing about familiarity though as far as the ergonomics and controls layout so definitely don?t fault you for wanting some sort of AR type carbine.

    Yes I did spend more than that on the Scorpion. I was really hoping someone would say take one of my current lowers and put an adapter in it for glock mags and get "this" upper at "this" place for only $250 but seems nobody has gone the route of an adapter that is seriously using an AR9 type. So I'm guessing that's probably not the way to go and I will just have to look for the best alternate option.
