YOU are the first responder. Police, fire and medical are SECOND responders.
When seconds count, the police are mere minutes away...
Gun registration is gun confiscation in slow motion.

Big R is pretty much the same store as Murdochs. The Big R in Evergreen always had a good selection of handguns.
Murdochs is a staple for us. I complain about their prices but they are reasonable in reality. They do great closeout(seasonal) sales.
Two of the best gun counters in the county are Murdochs and Napa in Ft Morgan. Napa doesn't always have large quantity but I like the selection.
I like Murdoch?s about the same as Big R or Tractor Supply.
Never really shopped any of those places for guns or gun stuff though.
I do like finding guns for sale in unexpected places. The Napa parts store in Fort Morgan was a surprise the first time I noticed it. Also, the Ace Hardware in whatever the first little town north of Greeley (Evans?) is has (or had) a little fun store in the back.
I always tried to visit Murdoch's in Salida, CO in the spring before Easter.
They would bring in the baby chicks for all the farmers in the area and set up big pens in the store by type of chick.
You could hear them a block away.
As will most places.
Usually I am looking for instant gratification when I hit a brick and mortar. When they don?t have what I want on hand I usually just order it myself.
I get it when a dealer offers to order in a firearm they don?t have. (Although these days I just order it myself anyways.)
The weird ones are when they offer to order you a holster or a scope or some other accessory that you can easily find online and have shipped right to you house.
Long's was open in the 90's in Golden, wasn't it?
