Hopefully get it into the shop this week to power-flush the hydraulics. I locked the rear diff and it won?t unlock, come to find out the reservoir is empty and gummy. Last owner (of almost 20 years) never used the 4WD, barely used it at all. Gonna have all fluids changed, and axle boots replaced.

So I geard these things sorta suck on the I70 passes. You going to do an engine swap or just enjoy it for what it is?

You heard right. 45mph, right lane on the passes (uphill). But engine swaps really don’t have a good history in these, so I’ll leave it as-is. But it’ll go slow like nobody’s business!
