I just wonder who thinks these firearm registrations and bans do anything to cut violent crime.

The point isn't to cut violent crime. It never has been. That is merely the fig leaf they run up to gain the support of beta males and soccer moms.

It's always been about disarming the populace to allow ever more stringent government power.

Gun control is only about the power to control. Always has been and it always will be period.

Watch as the parasites in the canadian government roll out more tyranny in the years to come. They will see more and bigger police state antics along with a bigger surveillance grid and a crackdown on more freedoms (As an example leftist/RINO mandated vaccines) ....because that is what it's really about.
