We've been doing it off and on, mostly when we are just hanging out with the kids on the deck after dinner. It seems a bit hokey at first, but I do think there is a value to creating some sort of solidarity as a community. The Italians make it look classy, but they have the advantage (in this regard) of living close enough together to be able to make music--and, they have talent! That being said, I wouldn't want to live in apartments ("flats") like that. I broke out my coyote howler and it set my dog off. He started howling--and looking very confused and anxious!
