I found my old Estes launch pad and controller at my folks' a few weeks ago. Been thinking about building a couple and getting back into it a bit. Thanks for the links, Chick. I'll check it out.

Fair. I don't have kids, so I have to own it. What can you do?

High-power rockets are fun too... different group, different venue. If you're interested in this sort of rocketry, pm me.

This is my husband's needy mi$tress.

Unfortunately, we are currently under covid restrictions/no fly by the park because we're known for filling the parking lot every time we fly. We hope to be back to operations very soon. Please pm me or contact us through our website.

We're a 501(c)(3) & there's no membership fees to fly. We have a menagerie of people from ULA, School of Mines students, boy/girl scouts, aerospace engineers, Moms, Dads ... you name it. All ages are welcome to attend & fly. *Please make note of our size & propellant limits for this venue.

We'd love to have you come fly with us.
It looks like from your site Lakewood shut it down completely at that park, is that still the case or have they relented?

That's pretty sweet. Love that launcher rig.

If you're just doing some smaller rockets, I'm sure I can arrange for you to come out to a friend's east of DIA. We shot some off a few weeks back with his kids

Its been an ongoing 'discussion' that was nearly sorted in our favor until Covid gave them an opportunity to postpone.
