While normally I'd be pleased at the prospects for SCOTUS any time prior to six months ago, I've recently been warning people this is the biggest "trigger" issue that I'd predict could lead to outright civil war, and it has happened. Is if we thought the weeks leading to elections were bad enough, people are going to be going absolutely psychotic over this now.

I'm not joking when I compare her to the assassination of Franz Ferdinand. We were already on shaky ground before, shit is going to get real, and we may not get to see the benefits of these developments like we'd have ordinarily expected.

While I vehemently disagreed with her opinions and most of her positions, I did respect her as an adversary and she did stick to her "guns", pun intended. It is strange to respect people who have been a thorn in my side, but what would life be without thorns.
