Total Bandit!!! Not the MoST recent purchase, but I paid TOP dollar from a breeder for a 2mo old male puppy (under pressure from my wife and three girls to get a puppy, of course)
Steals panties, socks, slippers, destroyed a pair of glasses...Our 8 month old doodle is a handful.
If someone knows a trainer who does not charge an arm and a leg let me know.
I have had a couple of German Shepards and a female Boxer who I trained muself with NO problem, but this guy is ahandful...cute on pictures though

Sometimes, that precious face is the sole means of their survival.

Ours is gradually getting into maturity, but it seems like it takes forever. They can really try your patience sometimes. The precious face reminds you of what you want the puppy to grow into as things progress.

You probably already know this, but for the record...

IMMEDIATELY after punishing them for chewing up whatever they're not supposed to be chewing, give them a chew toy and praise/love 'em up over the top. It's hard for a human to flip from punishment to praise immediately, but that's what's required.*

If you've got a chewer, have LOTS of chew toys around. For each new chew toy introduced into the household, put it in their mouth and [again] praise them over the top. This does two things, associates good things with the new chew toy and gets their scent (saliva) on it.

As for your suggestion for a trainer, here in the 'springs I recommend: CoolK9s

Training from socialization to schutzhund.
