I generally try to make a motorcycle ride on New Year's day, regardless of the weather. Street bike if possible, dirt bike as a second choice.
I've only missed a couple of rides in the last 34 years.

Light a fire for a man, and he'll be warm for a day, light a man on fire, and he'll be warm for the rest of his life...
Discussion is an exchange of intelligence. Argument is an exchange of
ignorance. Ever found a liberal that you can have a discussion with?
Way off topic but you guys will appreciate this.
I worked with a poker dealer who owned a Harley and an airplane. No car. He'd drive his bike to Black Hawk regardless of the weather all year long. There were days he'd walk in looking like Ralphie from "A Christmas Story" with his snow suit on and shit......he was hilarious, and a bit nuts.
He ended up moving to FL and crashing his plane on a residential street. I was not the least bit surprised to hear that. No injuries, thankfully. Wack job.
