This is following the exact same process as the Russian collusion BS.

Recall, the Russia stuff started when Trump jokingly said "Russia, if you have the emails let us know". That's all it took for them to fabricate the fake russia collusion story and give it a smidgen of legitimacy in the eyes of easily fooled public. Then the FBI fed info to the media, the media ran it and the FBI then used to media stories to create their case.

Same here. Capitol roit was the seed. The FBI had the smidgen of legitimacy they needed to create the fabricated but possibly believable narrative. If people already mobbed the Capitol, of course no one would question if the FBI told us it was going to happen again. Seed the story, people "chatter" on the socials about it, the FBI uses the chatter to give thier warning even more legitimacy. Bada big, bada boom, fake psyops theater that supports their agenda.

What's the agenda? Orange man bad and his supporters are dangerous domestic terrorists that require an entire division (or more?) to defend from. Need to scare those righties into silence again. Who wants to be called a domestic terrorist? Can't have those deplorables speaking up anymore.

Bingo. The phony Russia shit, last year and now with COVID, the election, etc. More and more people are realizing that we are an empire in decline.

The alphabet agencies can predict what is going to happen before it does with a great degree of accuracy. This is the reality of electronic systems. AI systems have become a force multiplier.

IN THE END IT WAS THE MATH.

Was just reading an article about an AI that can predict whether you're liberal or conservative based on your facial expressions. It has something like 74% accuracy, more than humans guessed correctly (which was like 54%), clearly better than coin flip. Yup, it's all the data.

(Ironically, the guy who did it was doing so to try to warn people about this sort of technology)

I completely agree....what hype the media is adding now, though, is nothing compared to the crap they will be slinging over the next 4 years to keep the masses cowering in their homes and afraid of the boogeyman.

It is easy to predict the future when you have a hand it making it that way. When you have a crystal ball (AI) telling you something will happen, and you begin a long effort to counter the event, what effect does your efforts have in encouraging the very event you are trying to prevent? Partly? Entirely? Would something have happened at all if the counter efforts hadnt been made? How do you correctly quantify the accuracy of the AI when any action you take as a result of the AI information will directly affect the outcome of the situation?

The FBI has been loudly reporting about riots in all 50 states for awhile now, supposedly in an effort to prevent it. Was it ever really a likelihood? Did the efforts of the FBI anger a portion of the population to the point that they would show up... confirming a prediction that otherwise may not have happened?

Thinking that it all happens independently and does not influence one or the other is blind.

The Denver Capitol riot already happened. Blaming the FBI is ridiculous. The pen is mightier than the sword. The Trump coup failed. I'm glad I was not part of it.
